I’ve got a lot on my mind this evening. Between uncertainties about the future, challenges at work, and a sprinkling of family drama, I’ve been having a hard time focusing on my ever-growing to-do list.
I tried just buckling down and powering through, but eventually, my racing thoughts became impossible to ignore.
So I thought to myself: What would I tell a student?
I tried to think of how I could take a short break to get my head right, and then I saw one of my coloring books and had my answer.
One five-minute mindfulness break later, I’m ready to get back to work.
