Day 38

When January 1st rolled around, I scrambled to come up with a resolution. My New Year’s resolutions have never seen much successmaybe because they’re too forced. Instead, all of my successful life changes or new routines seem to start at random times of the year. Among other examples, The Spontaneity Project started on January 3, my daily journaling habit started on January 9, 2019, and my daily reading habit started in August of 2018.

I decided to take a new approach this year and try monthly resolutions instead. January’s was to not snooze my alarm, and I think my success rate with that was maybe 9%. February’s resolution, apparently, was to do yoga every day. For those of you keeping track at home, we are now more than a week into February, and I only remembered this resolution today.

Better late than never, I figure, so today’s act of spontaneity is to do some bedtime yoga.
