Keeping an organized workspace has never been a strong suit of mine. Papers pile up without a proper home, supplies litter the surface like the chess pieces of an unskilled novice, and previous attempts at organization languish underneath it all.
It’s not for lack of trying, but usually, my follow through leaves much to be desired. Tonight, however, I looked at my desk and couldn’t take it anymore. I sorted and filed and stacked until it finally resembled a suitable workspace. The whole process took over an hour, but it was worth it.
Now, I’ve got a great station to do some work—assuming I can keep it this way.
