For me, social distancing means I haven’t seen another person in four days. Normally, I relish my independence, but this forced isolation has been challenging. It’s easy to lose perspective without routine and regular—even mundane—social interaction.
My solution? I got one of my best friends on speakerphone, and we watched The Twilight Zone for a couple hours. It’s not a perfect substitute for hanging out in person, but for now, it’ll have to do.
And it helped. It really helped.
