A few months ago, I meditated daily, and I approached the practice with the dedication of a straight-A student.
After a few weeks, though, I began to treat meditation like a chore. I picked the shortest clips on Headspace, and I remained preoccupied throughout the entire minute or two or three. Eventually, I let the habit lapse altogether.
I want to get back to meditating regularly, and I want to give it full commitment. In an effort to get the ball rolling, I completed a 15-minute meditation tonight.
